February 2018 Theme: Pals

This month's theme is "Pals". Remember the theme is suggestive, that is, it's open to interpretation.

I think this month offers a great deal of opportunity for really creative entries.

Recap of the rules: One entry per member. Must have a DS in it. Entry closes at midnight Eastern time on the 14th.

Post your picture here, or email it to me (my member name at gmail dot com). If you email, please include your member name in the email.

Tell us about yourself: Hello - My name is Tammy - I own what we think is a Dutch Shepherd and her name is Sadie and she is 2 years old and beautiful and our other dog is a little dog - her name is Bella - she is 5 years and is a Chihuahua mix (we think miniature pintcher). We love our dogs. I am a huge dog person. and want to no more about Sadie, our Dutch Shepherd.

Tell us about yourself: I'm Keith, 28 years old born and raised outside Chicago. I adopted Duke, the Dutch Shepherd from a Chicago foster based rescue. Duke had an unfortunate first 2 months of his upbringing but he's been a prince around here ever since.

Healthy, happy, energetic, and super social.

Tell us about yourself: I am: a father, a carpenter, hunter, runner. I have extensive experience with sled dogs, shepherd mixes, a wolf hybrid, a Shiloh Shepherd. I added Endeavor in April 2016. She was not working out in HRD. I train for game recovery and general utility.

I thought hard about one of the pics with my youngest. En won last month though. :D
I've also got a series of pics of the two dogs that looked all sweet-both of them gnawing on opposite ends of a stick. I thought that until I zoomed in on the last pic and realized that En was bearing her teeth the whole time.

Tell us about yourself: We are a dog loving family, and came to know our Dutchy Odin through our son who's in the military and got the first Dutch Shepherd of the family. Together with his brother Jackson the Bloodhound, Pippin the mini dachshund, and Loca our Elder Chihuahua we are a full family! LOL

Tell us about yourself: I'm a first time DS owner... And now a lifetime owner of the breed. I have Karma.. she's almost 2 now and is incredible. Great protection dog for my family and the most athletic dog I've ever witnessed.

The power went out.. house went black and here came Karma.. found my son Kannon and went into protection mode lol.. what a great dog. She sat on top of him until the lights came back on about ten minutes later. Now that's a true "pal"
