It turned out to be a win-win for the GSD rescues. I was pulling dogs that were not pet quality and ended up in the shelters because all they really needed was a challenge - a job. Literally, they were 'stacking up' and I was desparate to find a source and luck would have it along with divine intervention that I found this group. During my rescue days, I sent up dozens of rescues to them over 7-8 yrs, after the dogs had a clean bill of health, basic ob and house manners. I'd probably still be doing it but my kids' college tuitions became priority, of course.

During those rescue days is how I came across my first DS (in NewOrleans), and I became smitten with the breed.
