 But you don't have to take the pics on labor dog...uh...labor day weekend, ya know?
You have all month. (and could not let a pup grow up for 30 days without pictures, could you?) ;)

I'm with Judith on this one...I'm thinking pictures of the dogs around the pool working to get food from the grill.

But, maybe I'll look for a picture of the wonderdog flying through the air for the sleeve... :D

I know! I'm taking my camera in today to see what it will take to get it fixed (hoping it can be and that it's not too expensive). I definitely want to participate in these photo contests :fluffy: .

It's my birthday this weekend, too...being on the 4th, it's always around Labor Day holiday...and since Geyser was born on a Saturday, she'll be celebrating her 12 week birthday as I celebrate mine  .

Send my camera "get fixed cheaply vibes," will ya? :music3:

Yeh, I was thinking canines working up a sweat in anticipation of somethin' dropped off the BBQ grill! Also was thinking maybe herding with Zip but I really do love my sheep and ducks! Of course, BBQ duck might not be so bad for Labor Day either!

Happy birthday Leih :D

Think I'll go for the "dog at work" pic, since we do not have no Labor day overhere  I could take a pic of some lABradOR's tho, but they sure as hell don't have anything to do with any kind of labor  other than sofa-pre-heating that is

Thanks, Marjolein!

Sounds like a plan.

I've got one so far of Geyser working on her favorite stick  . Likewise, it'll be easy to get some shots of her working on a beef trachea, or bully stick  .

Glad there's a whole month to do this...

I tried today to get a photo to enter this month...

Where I grew up every Labor Day weekend there is a big car festival. I tried to get Cino set up for a photo in front of a Duesenberg...but he just wasn't cooperating at all!

I have a lot of photo's of the cars that I'll put up elsewhere. Also have photo's of them racing the Duesenbergs. ...keep in mind that most of these Duesy's are worth over a million and some are way over 5 million.

Koenig on the top of Mount Si, a semi-local hike. He carried 10 pounds of water, plus his treats. :D It's 8 miles round trip, with 3700 feet elevation gain. He labored, but not TOOOO much.

It's great there are monthly photo contests here, how fun!!!!

Thanks- he's got a better one (ruffwear brand- the old Palisade pack) but I can't find the PACK part, only the harness! Argh!! This pack is old, but it still serves the purpose. I was carrying the 30lb 2 yr old- no was I was packing all that water too! Thats what big dogs are for! :)

8-) Hey! Where can I get me one just like it? (A dog to carry my stuff, I mean, not the backpack itself)

I will never forget the story of a fellow dog-enthusiast who was climing a pretty steep mountain one day, and met some fellow hikers who had their golden retriever chugging along under some sizeable backpacks. He remembered thinking that it was only fair, that the dog would carry it's own water. So later that day, they meet again at the summit. The group proudly invites him to come sit with them, and have a nice cold beer... :? The dog had been hauling their iced down beers all day long.
