Caught

Post by felixone123 »

Caught Mr. Odin eating cat poop - :eew: :eew: . He thought it was delicious. Why oh why do dogs think this is ok? The little devil........he was like "what, what did I do mom"?

So, of course I now have to brush his teeth, cause who wants to smell that on his breath?? NOT ME!!!
He was an  and sat there as I brushed away (I think he liked it).

Our dogs like rabbit poo...it took me a while to figure out what it was because it's so small. I have caught Diesel taking a nibble of frozen dog poop before...so gross, but he seems to only want it if it is frozen. :yernuts:
In Yellowknife our winters are about 6 months! "Leave it" is a valuable command!

Please don't make the mistake of angrily grabbing cat poop out of his mouth.

It was not a smart idea on my part. :dsshock:

Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.

Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!

I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences.

I have deer poop all over no matter where I go. My girls are good with Leave It, but its catching them before they eat it is the fun part.

I try to explain to him it only grosses ME out... She thinks "oh, the turn down service has been here and left my favorite mints!!" :dsshock:

Tell us about yourself: I have had a DS for almost a year. Gwen and I are considering participating in PSA and or possible Ring Sport. I also have a Great Dane. I have grown up around working GSDs and my last GSD was a working K9 officer. I am all about dogs and animals in general and want to learn as much as I can about training.

any new poop for Gwen other than her own or Izar's must be like gourmet stuff because I have to watch her like a hawk.. she puked rabbit poop once, thank god I was out of town :D and my hubby had to clean it up. . I just call her poddy mouth and tell her to stay away from me .. leave it works great if I can catch her but I don't always catch her..

Tell us about yourself: I was introduced to the Dutch Shepherd breed during my time as an Army veterinary technician working with Military Working Dogs. I fell in love with the breed and by pure chance happened to meet a DS in a local rescue who was a police K9 washout and was up for adoption. We adopted Zodiac right away and she has been an important part of our family ever since. We currently compete in Rally-Obedience and participate in Agility.
