- Tell us about yourself: A dog lover living in Florida. I am originally from The Netherlands. Had dogs all my life, mostly working dogs. Last one was a GSD I trained for narcotic detection. I have recently gotten my first DS, Ranger. I also have 2 Danish/Swedish farmdogs.

- Tell us about yourself: DS and Mal foster newly approved aug'12 by NADSR and ABMCR. high-functioning Autistic in nyc/hamptons in my 60's. Rescued the smartest dog i had ever seen off nyc street in 2000. Tracedog's intelligence exceeded by multiples my judgement that day. My first [and only as of 10/2012] dog turned out to be a DS, perhaps with a touch of something else, but attention to detail, behavioral traits, and physical habits, movement, and skill identical to DS. But MUCH more intellectual ability. supremely confident in all settings, fearless, very outgoing and social with people and friendly with dogs. Seldom apart in over 12 years, Trace Dog was the most important relationship of my adult life; he was my partner. - Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.
Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!
I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences. - Location: Victoria BC

- Tell us about yourself: My name is Emily. I am the mother of two girls (human!!). We have one beagle named Charlie who is three and a new puppy named Asha. She is about 9 weeks old and we think she is a Dutch Shepherd Dog mix.

Ranger is growing fast, now at 6 months weighs in at 58 pounds!

- Tell us about yourself: I am a military working dog handler in the United States Air Force. My current working dog is a spunky old german shep named Ferra. But I have also had the pleasure of working with belgian mals while in this career field as well. I am the proud owner of two beautiful dutchies. One brindle male and female who are brother and sister from the same litter. They are currently five months old and I will never own another breed of dog after having these guys! They are wonderful, smart, loyal, alert, obedient *for the most part* lol and protective. Best dogs I have ever owned.

Things are going well, we can't weigh him anymore because I can't pick him up to stand on my Weight Watchers scale anymore, haha. He is passing through the "all soft toys must be shredded" stage and getting into "I must protect my family from all evil intruders" including birds, falling leaves, neighbors mowing their lawn, overhead aircraft, bugs and the gold fish in the pond, to name a few. He is loving the new ball you recommended and puts it back into the throwing cup which is nice for my fingers, 
. No matter where I hide it between games, he will find it and show me where it is so we can play again. He is also holding cooky on nose until I say "catch" but not so good at actually catching it yet. He fetches the paper from the bottom of the driveway and brings it (mostly) intact to us in the house.
His Canine Good Citizen certificate arrived in the mail yesterday. We have PVC pipe in the garage to build jumps and stuff with. Taking a short hiatus from classes as my cousin from Holland is coming to visit for e week. Will sign up for another one later in the Spring.
All in all, he is a great dog, wonderful companion and eager student of whatever I want to teach him!
