In addition, I have just learned that my beloved horse, Shaman, who is 24 and my first horse and has seen me through all manner of life, will probably be leaving me soon. He had an eye removed in October, and just days ago it has come to my attention that his other eye is beginning to fail, now. The vet and I both agree that at his age and way of life, it would be unfair to put him through more surgery and force him to adapt to full blindness. I am fortunate in that he is very healthy and strong, otherwise, and if luck holds, will still get to have one last summer with him. But I am grappling with that sense of impending loss as well. I am okay, and will be, and being able to work with Moko is awesomely therapeutic, but I may be even less active, here than before.
Moving on, photos! My booth at the craft show, and some DS-themed fun. A Mask and Winestopper (as we all love to talk about how our dogs drive us to drink!
