Welcoming new 5 mo old to the family

Hello from Ohio! My son, who is in the military recently purchased a 5 mo old Dutch Shepherd. He has not been well socialized but my son and his wife have been taking him out regularly to parks, etc. to meet people. He is coming to stay with me for 3 weeks soon. I have two Chihuahua's and a very laid back but playful Coonhound. My son mentioned that Titan, the Dutch does not seem friendly/comfortable with other dogs. I would like to introduce them the correct way, and hope to walk the two larger ones together frequently. I would appreciate any advice you can give me on accomplishing this with the least upset to any of them, and also any practical advice for training this amazing breed of dog. adding specificity to what Raven suggested, ''LyonsFamily'' and ''Christie M'' have offered very good insights to dog family-intros in various threads - probably ''whatever'' but i am not sure. in any case, i would look out for what they had to say. [ you can go to a member's profile and search through that member's postings; not sure if that is better than searching topic by word search, but it offers a good back-up choice.]
