He's also thinking: I'm glad you made me strong enough not to care what other dogs at the park are saying about my lead. (I say this because my husband had issues with an electric blue lead with bright speckles I bought for an adopt years and years ago. The big, long-haired, tattooed, guitar-slinging biker didn't mind walking a Pomeranian, but had issues with the lead I bought. IT MATCHED THE COLOR OF MY CAR! Geeeeeeeez.)
Though I can only hope to become the person who my animals believe I am, the things that they have taught me have made me a better human being. ~~~Sharon~~~

I love your thought bubble!!! :) It is this face that keeps him out of the soup pot. ;)
What is it with husbands and leash colors, anyway...LOL The mental picture I have of your story is AWESOME!!!

Tell us about yourself: Howdy,
We are a family of rescues, (yeah, me included), in Southern California. My wife and I currently have two dogs, a Golden Retriever/ GSD mix by the name of Morgan, and our DS mix(?), Dinga Roo. We had never even heard of a Dutch Shepherd before until we were stalked by this nice lady in the pet store who asked us if Roo was a DS. Dang if that lady wasn't on to something. I just found this site, so here we are....
