Cino opening a savings account

Post by icvanstra »

Cino opened his own bank account this morning.

The branch I go to loves Cino. This morning they yelled, "Cino" as we walked in...then a moment later one of the tellers said, "we like you too Eric."

This is not the first time he has jumped on the counter when the teller was calling is name!

The teller was asking him if he wanted a treat. He took a really small hesitant jump and as I was telling him no he landed on the counter. No scrambling, nothing but net, landed on all fours... If you look the FDIC pad is about an inch from where it started.

Tell us about yourself: DS and Mal foster newly approved aug'12 by NADSR and ABMCR. high-functioning Autistic in nyc/hamptons in my 60's. Rescued the smartest dog i had ever seen off nyc street in 2000. Tracedog's intelligence exceeded by multiples my judgement that day. My first [and only as of 10/2012] dog turned out to be a DS, perhaps with a touch of something else, but attention to detail, behavioral traits, and physical habits, movement, and skill identical to DS. But MUCH more intellectual ability. supremely confident in all settings, fearless, very outgoing and social with people and friendly with dogs. Seldom apart in over 12 years, Trace Dog was the most important relationship of my adult life; he was my partner. He died july17,2012. i am dying without him. www.youtube.com/tracesobaka www.dogster.com/dogs/637612

LOVE this photo. it is great that he is laying down.

when TraceDog was around, he quite more than once mistook people's invitations to come into a store [ from off-leash on the sidewalk ] or suggestion to put his paws UP on the counter as an invitation to go up to eye level - once running from the street to land on a glass display case loaded on top and inside with goods. thankfully he landed without crashing through the top OR even disturbing even one item. we all thought both non-events were miraculous; his precision was always great. --- but never did he ever lay down so politely!

of my current 3, only Tracer - who as the youngest turned 2 on the 4th of this month - has such inclinations to go ALL THE WAY in greetings at counters. i think he knows to limit himself now, but last year he scared a pharmacist out of her wits when she said hello in an apparently very enticing voice and there he was a second later standing eye-to-eye in her face.

did you have the presence of mind to capture this moment or was this a by-stander?
