Facebook page.Hi all!! I've been a big fan of this forum long before I was lucky enough to have my sweet Rahla grace us with her presence! I had been on the hunt for a Dutch puppy for what seemed like forever, researching all breeders and listings intensively. I found Rahla (originally penny) on an AdoptaPet listing, posted by a new Rescue in California. It was love at first click. I knew I finally had my Rahla. My mom lives an hour from the rescue and picked her up and sent her to AK for me. We are so in love! She amazes me every day and makes me laugh constantly. She got sit, lay down and stay (which really maxes out at about 12ft of me walking away haha) SO quickly. And she's a natural at heeling off-leash. Its pretty amazing.
She was listed as a German shepherd mix on one listing, and as a Dutch on another. I raised my bosses German shep from 4 months old and I'm relatively certain there's no German in her. She's about 24 lbs at 13 weeks now. I'll try to attach pics. She's beautiful. Give me your thoughts!

- Tell us about yourself: Hi! My name is Mariel and I recently became the proud proud proud and lucky owner of Rahla, a 12 week old Dutchie. She came from a rescue in California, and now resides here in Alaska with me, my boyfriend and our 3 roommates. She is everything Ive ever wanted, after tireless research on finding the perfect breeder, I was so blessed to find her at a rescue 1hour away from my mom in California. She was shipped up to me and we now live in hilarious puppy bliss.
