- Tell us about yourself: Right now Im a tired puppy mama. This is my first Dutch Shepherd (three GSD, 1 chow, 1 husky). Here for information and support.

New to DS
Hi, we just brought home our first Dutch Shepherd, hes five months old and he is just beautiful, but I cant get him out of his shell. Ive had and enjoyed training 3 GSDs so I was expecting a high drive, motivated, happy to learn dog, but this guy is a whole new 'beast' lol. He was very playful and outgoing when we went to meet him, but he's totally withdrawn since we got him home. Things arent going great, so I really appreciate this forum. I posted more info and questions in the behavior board, so any insight would be helpful for us. Thanks!!
