Dog Rules

Post by leih merigian »

This sign is posted in one of my vet's treatment rooms. I love getting that room, because these words never fail to make me smile...(there is no attirbution on the sign, so I have no idea who wrote it)

DOG RULES

1.The dog is NOT allowed in the house
2.Okay, the dog is allowed in the house, but only in certain rooms
3.Alright, the dog is allowed in all rooms, but has to stay off the furniture
4.Well, okay, the dog can get on the OLD furniture only
5.Fine, the dog is allowed on all the furniture, but is not allowed to sleep on the bed
6.Okay, the dog is allowed on the bed, but only by invitation
7.The dog can sleep on the bed anytime, but not under the covers
8.Okay, the dog can sleep under the covers, but by invitation only
9.Fine, the dog can sleep under the covers every nite
10.Humans must ask permission to sleep under the covers with the dog

Geyser is allowed in the house and in all the rooms, but she's not yet allowed on the furniture. So, I had to pick an illustration that has a DS in GSD disguise... :dsrazz:

Whahaha! I would like to make a "Delft-Bleu" tile of it, in Holland everyone has these tiles with a proverb on it, like "no place like home" etc.

I can understand your GSD wants to look like a brindle

an illustration that shows we do not have these rules in our home

Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.

Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!

I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences.
